Sky: New contacts scheduled as Milan table ‘important offer’ for Calhanoglu

By Isak Möller -

Hakan Calhanoglu has been struggling since the start of the year, hit by COVID early on, but it seems he’s on the right path. Against Fiorentina, he was crucial with his 3-2 goal and he also looked a lot better.

The No.10’s contract will expire at the end of the season and it’s clear that the Rossoneri don’t want to lose him for free. Therefore, negotiations are underway to reach an agreement with his agent, Gordon Stipic.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Milan want to keep him for many years and have made an ‘important offer’. It’s currently being considered by the player and new contacts are expected in the next few days.

It remains to be seen if the Turk will accept the proposal, but it seems both parties want to continue together. And considering how important he has been for most of the season, losing him for free would be a disaster.
