Sky: Pioli and several AC Milan players face uncertain future – the details

By Isak Möller -

Uncertainty has been the theme for AC Milan in recent weeks, with regards to what will happen after the season. Zvone Boban has been sacked and Paolo Maldini could leave as well, so who will replace them?

According to Sky Italia’s Manuele Baiocchini (via MilanNews.it), several Rossoneri players – and not just Stefano Pioli – face an uncertain future at the club. For the manager, he will have to finish the season in the best way possible to remain.

As for the future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, it will depend a lot on the next manager. Should he remain a reference point in the plans for next season, then he will most likely decide to renew his contract with the club.

In addition to the Swede, the delicate situation of Gigio Donnarumma hasn’t been dealt with, despite the fact that the goalkeeper’s contract expires in 2021. It will also be interesting to see how Milan will react to any big offers for Theo Hernandez.

Even for Ante Rebic, despite his success this year, it remains to be seen what the club’s plans are. In general, as the reporter continues, no one can feel fully comfortable about the upcoming summer market.
