Sky: Pioli pondering change in midfield for Frosinone game

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is pondering some changes to the starting line-up in view of the game on Saturday against Frosinone.

Milan once again will be asked to respond after a disappointing result on Saturday against Bologna, in which they let a lead slip late on after Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s brace and were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw.

As Sky (via MilanNews) report, the squad are at Milanello this afternoon to continue preparing for the next game, which is on Saturday evening away from home against Frosinone who are 13th in the table.

There could be some changes in midfield compared to the last three games against Roma, Udinese and Bologna as per the source, but Tijjani Reijnders and Loftus-Cheek are sure of a starting spot.

Yacine Adli could make way for one of either Yunus Musah or Ismael Bennacer in the double pivot, that is obviously if the Algerian is actually available after the muscle problem he suffered in the African Cup of Nations.

It is Reijnders and Loftus-Cheek who have been playing a lot recently with Adli more of a recent fixture in the starting line-up, but Pioli it seems is pondering changing the Frenchman.
