Sky: Pioli’s rules at AC Milan; no delays and mobile phones are forbidden

Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan is taking shape. In addition to scrapping the pre-match ritiro, thus allowing the players to sleep at home the night before a game, the manager has also implemented a few more rules.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), the former Fiorentina manager has banned the use of mobile phones while at the table, whenever the players are having breakfast, lunch or dinner together.

Furthermore, he has implemented a more detailed program for the players food-wise, thus keeping full control of his squad. As Pioli himself stated during the presser today (via MilanNews.it), it’s all to help them on the pitch.

Finally, per the report, he won’t tolerate any delays to the training sessions. In other words, Pioli is very strict with his methods, hoping that he can turn the situation around. However, as we all know, it certainly won’t be an easy task for the 53-year-old.
