Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Atalanta – Kjaer and Tonali set to return

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is set to make some alternations to his starting line-up for the game against Atalanta compared to the one that faced Atletico Madrid.

According to what Peppe Di Stefano has told Sky (via MilanNews), Mike Maignan should be in goal while Simon Kjaer is all set to return to his position as Fikayo Tomori’s partner, with Alessio Romagnoli ready for a rest.

In midfield three players are competing for two places, with Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali the favourites to start from the beginning as things stand.

Alexis Saelemaekers should be on the right wing, with Brahim Diaz the playmaker and Rafael Leao on the left wing, and Ante Rebic the centre-forward once again, with Oliver Giroud ready to take over from the bench as he is not yet at 100%.

AC Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Rebic.
