Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Juventus – Romagnoli tipped to start over Kjaer

By Oliver Fisher -

Some more team news has come ahead of AC Milan’s game at Juventus on Sunday night as there is expected to be a change in the centre of defence.

As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), head coach Stefano Pioli has a long list of injuries to content with which has forced him to make some changes. In goal will be Mike Maignan as usual, while in defence captain Alessio Romagnoli will come in alongside Fikayo Tomori as Simon Kjaer will be rested after the game against Liverpool.

The pair of full-backs will be Theo Hernandez and Alessandro Florenzi, who will start from the first minute after the news of Davide Calabria’s thigh strain. Sandro Tonali returns to the double pivot where he will partner Kessie.

As for the choices in attack, Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao are expected to be the trident behind centre-forward Ante Rebic, given Ibrahimovic and Giroud are out.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Florenzi, Tomori, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Brahim, Leao; Rebic.
