Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Sassuolo – Leao up front, Rebic on the wing and Krunic poised

Some more news has arrived regarding the AC Milan team that could face Sassuolo at San Siro tonight from Sky Italia.

Peppe di Stefano told the broadcaster (via MilanNews) live from Milan that the official farewell to the Super League has arrived for the Rossoneri, which is dominating the media headlines, but also the news of the absences of Ismael Bennacer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez are far from ideal.

The formation that Pioli is expected to field is as follows: Dalot on the left side of defence, Calabria returns to the right and in the middle the two centre-backs Kjaer and Tomori. Kessiè and Meite will be in midfield, with Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu and Rebic behind the centre-forward Leao.

Di Stefano adds that if Calhanoglu is not fit enough to start – having sustained a knock against Genoa – then Rade Krunic will take his spot as the attacking midfielder.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Dalot; Kessié, Meité; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu (Krunic), Rebic; Leao.
