Sky: Rangnick gets set to lead Man Utd inspired revolution at Milan – three key figures to leave

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are likely to say goodbye to both Paolo Maldini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims, with Ralf Rangnick set to take on a revolutionary role.

All the signs seem to point towards Rangnick’s arrival at Milan this summer in some capacity, and Sky Italia notes that it would kick off yet another revolution.

He would be both in charge of the tactics as head coach, but also in charge of the transfer market and all aspects of player recruitment, which the report claims is similar to the role Sir Alex Ferguson had for years in Manchester United.

With Rangnick many things would change, with Stefano Pioli of course set to leave as well as technical director Paolo Maldini, who would not accept a marginal role in the project.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic meanwhile does not fit Rangnick’s tactical approach due to his limited mobility in attack. The 61-year-old is ready give another strong jolt to the Milan world, and after his statements nobody can deny it anymore.
