Ante Rebic has not travelled with the AC Milan squad to Florence and is instead already in Croatia ahead of the international break.
As Sky reports (via MilanLive), Rebic has been struggling for two weeks with a hip inflammation that is limiting his performance on the pitch and has forced him to miss the last couple of games.
The player suffered from a flare-up of the problem shortly before the first leg match against Manchester United and that forced him to the sidelines once again. Stefano Pioli did not even call him up for the game at the Stadio Artemio Franchi because he is suspended for the game, but the broadcaster reports that the player has answered the call-up of the Croatian national team.
Furthermore, as pointed out by Peppe Di Stefano, the player did not travel with the team to Florence and has already flown home to join his national team this evening.
