Sky: Renato Sanches has visited Milan’s facilities ahead of imminent €18-20m move

AC Milan are closing in on reaching a full agreement over the signing of Renato Sanches from Lille, according to a report.

Speaking on Sky (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio reports that an agreement with the Portuguese midfielder has been found and it was not taken for granted considering the requests from a salary point of view and the commissions of his agent Jorge Mendes.

It is a deal worth around €3.5m net per season for the player and the agreement between the clubs is expected to close between €18-20m. Di Marzio goes on to add that Renato Sanches has already been to Milan and has visited the facilities and the city itself ahead of the potential move.

Next week therefore the situation could be defined and everything could be agreed for the man that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have identified for a while as being the heir to Franck Kessie.

  1. Happy that his salary ended up being relatively moderate, given his history of injuries. In the last three seasons he has been injured for 39 games, compared to Kessiès 3.

  2. No. He played that game, and was very good. I have no issues with the quality of the player. He is a versatile workhorse with good technical abilities. What I am sceptical about is his absurd amount of injuries.
