Sky: Stalemate continues over Todibo deal as Milan and Barcelona search for formula

By Oliver Fisher -

The stalemate between AC Milan, Barcelona and defender Jean-Clair Todibo is continuing, according to a report.

Thanks to the blitz of sporting director Ricky Massara in Barcelona, the Rossoneri now have the ‘yes’ of Todibo, as we reported on Friday evening.

However, as il Corriere della Sera claimed over the weekend (via MilanNews.it), the player made a request by saying doesn’t want to cut the connection with Barcelona, where he believes he could be important in the future.

Luca Marchetti has offered an update on the situation to Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – by claiming that Todibo knows he needs to go out and play and has shown willingness to join Milan.

However, the right formula must be found because the LaLiga side would like a loan with option to buy in favour of the Rossoneri, but also a buy-back option in their favour so they don’t lose control over the player.

Much will depend on the Frenchman’s performance at Milan, because he will have to be convincing in his experience at San Siro in order to prove to the Blaugrana that he is worth betting on for the future.
