AC Milan and Inter are going head to head for Gleison Bremer and it seems that Torino would rather sell to the Rossoneri, according to a report.
Sky Italia (via MilanNews) reports that Milan had chosen Sven Botman as their number one centre-back target but Newcastle United are now pushing hard to sign him and Lille’s valuation has complicated matters.
Those two factors have induced the Rossoneri into turning towards Bremer of Torino, who was awarded the title of best defender in Serie A for the 2021-22 season.
Not only that, but Sky report that the Granata would like to sell Bremer to Milan rather than to Inter, because there is the possibility of inserting Tommaso Pobega in the deal as a counterpart.
The Milan management, however, do not seem inclined to use Pobega in the operation to lower the cost of the cash sum, with the midfielder tipped to play role in the squad next season.
I really hope Pobega isn’t given away and lessons are learned from Locatelli and Pessina situations… at worst, let him out on loan. Would be crazy to use an international standard midfielder in a makeweight deal for a third choice defender…
I don’t think it would be fair towards Pobega to even loan him. He deserved his chance to show he can play for Milan.

I don’t believe this, would be pretty crazy if a players his will is less important than the clubs now. If we miss out on both Bremer and Botman It will be pretty shit. But there are more good cb’s. Maybe Milenkovic from Fiorentina would be nice for Milan

Inserting Pobega to buy him no, we need midfielder since Kessie will be going out. Pobega is playing for Italy National team, Bremer dont even play for his country. They should be the one who should pay Milan and swap Bremer with Pobega if they really want Pobega. Not the other way around. Torino president is a prick when putting price for their player look at Belotti now, no clubs want him and he is getting old and stuck with Torino. Player valuation in Serie A is the worse, even Scamacca is overprice as if Sassuolo even playing in Europe, they ended the season in 11th place, come on. Serie A players is overprice and fan are still wondering why Serie A clubs rather buy player from abroad.
