Sky: Two options for Milan regarding permanent signing of €25m Croatia winger

By Oliver Fisher -

There are two possible paths for AC Milan regarding making Ante Rebic a permanent member of the Rossoneri, according to a report.

Rebic joined Milan late in the last summer transfer window, arriving on a two-year dry loan from Eintracht Frankfurt with no option or obligation to buy inserted, while Andre Silva moved in the opposite direction on the same terms.

After struggling up until the Christmas period, the Croatia international has exploded in 2020 so far, scoring seven goals in all competitions to become the club’s top scorer.

According to the latest from Sky Italia (via MilanLive), Milan are now considering the possible options regarding making Rebic’s stay a permanent one.

One option is that Andre Silva joins Eintracht permanently in a swap deal, but at the moment the Bundesliga side are not convinced by the Portuguese international, so it may take a cash offer.

With his contract set to expire in 2022 – a year after his loan expires – the Rossoneri are hoping for a discount on the asking price which at the moment is €25million, the report concludes.
