There was a meeting between Gerry Cardinale and Paolo Maldini this morning at a hotel in Milano, but the summer window was not discussed in great detail.
As reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via Francesco Nasato), Cardinale and Maldini met with each other in the city centre this morning for a face to face discussion not long after the final game against Hellas Verona, but Ricky Massara was not there.
The discussion was not so much about programming for the summer window or the 2023-24 season, and instead it was more an exchange of views regarding the plan moving forward between the RedBird founder and the club’s technical director.
What has become clear is that there must be a meeting point and a shared vision to move forward together, especially in view of a transfer window that is absolutely crucial in ensuring that Milan continue to move forward from a sporting point of view.
okidoki, I understand nothing filtered out of their discussion then. I doubt they met to conclude they needed aligning on the objectives and the strategy
And others reporting the transfer market was discussed and the available funds is 50m. Sales will bring that up but if we’re basically saying we need a leap in quality what are we going to do with 50m? They want to spend 20m on loftus cheek. That leaves 30m to be spent on a winger and a striker. Any striker that is either world class or promising to be world class is North of 50m.
Year by year there are a lot of free players on transfermarkt and managers needs to have good guess which players will be benefit for ac. Spending money doesn’t guarantee results.
Just rumours at this point, chill out.
Yeah, I doubt Sky had a reporter sitting in on their conversation. People need to calm down.
all this finding a new and director and such will delay getting players
