Sky: Winger looks set for Fiorentina stay as Milan and Juventus cannot pay €60m asking price

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will not be making a move late in the window for winger Federico Chiesa who now seems set to stay at Fiorentina, a report claims.

Chiesa is a name that continues to be linked as a potential dream signing to fully complete the squad for the season ahead after what has been a busy shortened summer window.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanLive) however, the Italian winger in the end could be ‘stuck’ at Fiorentina. The player and Juventus reached an agreement but in the end the Bianconeri were not able to sell Douglas Costa, Mattia De Sciglio and Sami Khedira, which ultimately prevented the deal from being closed.

Therefore the most likely situation at the moment is that Chiesa remains in Florence until January. There are no other possibilities for the 22-year-old because Milan do not intend to make a late move, with Rocco Commisso standing firm on his €60m asking price.
