Fikayo Tomori will land in Italy on Friday to formally join from Chelsea and begin his adventure with AC Milan, we have learned.
Milan director Paolo Maldini confirmed that negotiations are ongoing as he spoke before Monday night’s win over Cagliari, and according to what we have learned from Pietro Balzano Prota it is a done deal.
According to what PBP has told us, Milan tried to get Tomori in Italy this evening (at 21:45), but instead he will almost certainly arrive in Milano tomorrow.
It is a race against time to have him ready to face Atalanta on Saturday at 17:00, as he will have to undergo his medical and fitness checks before signing his contract and then it will be determined if he is eligible to play.
The 23-year-old England international will arrive from Chelsea on the basis of a six-month loan with an option to buy set at €25m.
