By Pietro Balzano Prota -

Milan are performing well on the pitch but it’s clear that they could do with some reinforcements this transfer window. In addition to a centre-back, the Rossoneri are also looking to sign a midfielder this month.

As our correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota has learned, Milan are getting closer and closer to one of their targets for the midfield: Soualiho Meite. There were new contacts with Torino today and they are working on an agreement.

The formula could be a loan with an option to buy for the French midfielder. Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are in standby with regards to Mohamed Simakan. Leipzig are also very interested in the Strasbourg star, as we have said before.

The new hot name for defence is Fikayo Tomori, who would be allowed to leave Chelsea on loan. After long negotiations with Strasbourg over Simakan, therefore, Milan could opt for a different solution in the end.
