SM: Fulham enquire about Milan outcast Ballo-Toure – the price tag

By Isak Möller -

One of the players that are destined to leave AC Milan this summer is Fode Ballo-Toure. The deputy left-back has not impressed and could now leave the Rossoneri for a rather low figure.

Balloo-Toure joined Milan in the summer of 2021 for a fee of €5.4m from Monaco. Since then, the 26-year-old hasn’t been getting a lot of playing time (as expected) but when given the chance, he hasn’t impressed either.

Therefore, the Rossoneri are planning to get rid of the Frenchman this summer and as learned by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Fulham recently enquired about Ballo-Toure. No negotiations have been started, though.

Milan are willing to sell the left-back for just €4m as it would be very difficult for them to make a capital loss, given the low amount spent in 2021 (as mentioned above). Inquiries have also arrived from France and Turkey, as our report concludes, and the Rossoneri have made it clear that no loan formula will be accepted.

  1. I think Ballo-Ture is an ”ok” backup for Hernandez, he haven’t go anyone else as a replacement. I we sell Ballo toure who will we get instead…this transfer market is getting weird by the day.

    1. Totally agree, even though I would have loved to see what Junior Firpo can bring as back-up, he is just a few millions above Ballo’s valuation and not a significant upgrade, so I will pass.
