SM: Huge crowd expected for Milan-Fiorentina as fans remain present

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan may be going through a difficult period, but the fans have no intention of giving up this early. For tonight’s clash against Fiorentina, there will be an impressive 73k in attendance, meaning the game is more or less sold out.

Milan have collected just two points in the last four games, now in desperate need of a win. Furthermore, they are struggling with many injuries and this has complicated the situation for head coach Stefano Pioli.

Tonight’s clash is crucial both for Milan and Pioli, whose position has come under scrutiny in recent weeks. Claiming all three points would also help boost the confidence ahead of Tuesday’s key clash against Borussia Dortmund.

As reported by our correspondent Luca Maninetti, there will be an impressive 73k at San Siro this evening. This means that the game is sold out, and the fans clearly have no intention of giving up on the Rossoneri.

The Primavera youngsters Francesco Camarda and Jan-Carlo Simic have been added to the squad due to the injury crisis. The fans are eager to see especially Camarda in action, having already seen Simic during pre-season. Nothing can be ruled out with Milan these days, but both will likely remain on the bench.
