AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have played his last game for the club as he has suffered a calf problem which is thought to be serious.
Sky Italia among others are reporting that Ibrahimovic injured himself in training on Monday morning and that the Swedish forward will undergo tests to establish the extent of the problem.
Now, it has been confirmed to us by our correspondent Vito Angele that Ibrahimovic has indeed suffered a serious injury during Monday’s session.
It is a calf problem which has downed the Swede, and Angele believes it is likely that his season is over.
The fear now of course is that – when considering his age and his contract situation at Milan – he may have played his last game for the club or even his career.
It happened in when Ibra made an attempt to reach a long throw and could be a reoccurrence of the problem he had in January and February.
