SM: Leao and Duarte set for medicals; latest on Silva, Correa

By Vito Angele -

AC Milan have agreed a deal with Ligue 1 side Lille for the transfer of forward Rafael Leao, we can reveal.

It was first reported last week that the Portugal starlet would join Milan, and on Monday the two sides struck a total agreement.

The Rossoneri will indeed pay the €30m initially reported for the 20-year-old, who scored eight goals and added two assists in Ligue 1 last season for Lille.

In the next few hours, Duarte is also expected to sign a five-year deal. The Brazilian defender will arrive for a figure close to €11million.

With the arrival of Leao, the search for attacking players will not stop: the negotiations for Angel Correa are proceeding but Milan have slowed the deal down.

They are trying to soften the position of Atletico Madrid, especially after the sale of André Silva fell through, for which further news is expected in the coming days.

With the departure of the Portuguese, Milan would return to the market more aggressively, this time with the intention of closing Correa.

The Argentine is viewed as the perfect reinforcement for the tactical module of Marco Giampaolo.
