SM: Maldini and Boban’s ultimatum to Elliott; Milan set for ‘mini revolution’ in January

By Oliver Fisher -

The day after yet another defeat, this time against Paulo Fonseca’s Roma, Milan returns to reflect on the general work of a project that is slow to bare fruit.

In this regard, according to what was collected by SempreMilan.com, as already mentioned last week, in January there could be a mini-revolution.

BOBAN AND MALDINI, IRON ARM WITH GAZIDIS

Elliott’s strategy has not gone down well director Paolo Maldini and Zvonomir Boban – something that has long been established – but that the duo in the last few days have brought an ultimatum to the attention of the club’s owners.

The pair have repeated several times in their most recent interviews: “You can’t wait ten years to win”.

IN JANUARY CHANGE STRATEGY

According to the information collected by SempreMilan in view of the January market, Milan’s strategy will undergo a clear change.

Elliott in fact have already assured Maldini and Boban that, unlike the summer market, more experienced profiles will also be considered.

So Milan is once again ready to return to the market with more decisiveness. If the promises made to the operating duo should not go through, in June another managerial change will be required. Something that Elliott wants to avoid at all costs.
