SM: Milan expected to permanently sign Messias but could sell him on – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will sign Junior Messias on a permanent basis this summer however his future at the club is far from guaranteed.

According to our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, the Rossoneri management will proceed with the signing of Messias from Crotone in the next few days. It should be an amount less than the €5.4m agreed last summer with Crotone, also considering the €2.6m already paid to them for the one-year loan.

The Brazilian could be bought by Milan but not to stay beyond the summer transfer window, because Messias is in fact attracting the interest of several Italian and foreign teams that could totally repay the investment made by Milan.

The stay of Messias could be closely linked to the choice that the management will make regarding Alexis Saelemeakers, whose name was brought up during talks with Roma over a potential deal for winger Nicolo Zaniolo.

  1. If the club can afford it i would buy messias and keep him as a backup while getting preferably berradi or someone else who can guarantee great quantity of goals and assists and then afterwards loan out saelemaekers to a club where he will be forced to play more as a protagonist and hopefully then develope his end product for a year or two before returning.

  2. Was really impressed wt his performance at Crotone, but, didn’t understand what happened to him at Milan. We need a better attacker on d right wing. Wish him d best whatever d outcome.

  3. Im agreed with martin bernhard. Messias for backup, saelemaker is loan to another club to reach for maturity in his position….n then back to the club
