SM: Milan looking for a striker and Mandzukic is the first name

AC Milan are on the search for a new centre-forward and Mario Mandzukic is not the only name being considered, we have learned.

As we have learned through Pietro Balzano Prota, Milan – despite the usual denials in interviews – are looking for a striker who can rotate with Zlatan and complete the Rossoneri attack.

It was discussed in the meeting at Casa Milan between the management and the well-known agent Giovanni Branchini, and it was there that the idea of Mario Mandzukic was born.

Leonardo Pavoletti was first proposed, who did not warm the Rossoneri’s heart, but the reaction to the Croatian’s name was different and the chatter began step by step.

The idea is that of a six-month contract, and Mandzukic’s desire to prove that he can still make an impact plus his personality would be very useful for Milan.

It’s all true, but the thing that emerges and we have learned with certainty is that Milan are looking for a striker, they have a handful of candidates and at the moment – number 1 among them – is Mario Mandzukic.
