SM: Milan reopen talks over Frattesi amid Inter’s Brozovic frustration

AC Milan are back in pole position to sign Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo giving Inter’s difficulties in selling Marcelo Brozovic.

According to our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Brozovic’s move to Al-Nassr was needed for Inter to complete the deal for the Sassuolo midfielder, but things have hit the rocks in the last few hours.

The Nerazzurri have been forced to block Brozovic’s move to Al-Nassr for the time being because the Saudi Arabian club have changed the terms of their offer for the Croatian from €23m to €15m.

Without the money deriving from the sale of Brozovic – while waiting to understand the developments on that front – Inter cannot take the necessary steps forward to finally land Frattesi, thus leaving ample opportunity for Milan.

This morning, the Rossoneri management met the Neroverdi midfielder’s agent Beppe Riso at Casa Milan, and it is almost certain that discussions over the 24-year-old will have taken place given Milan’s need to sign a couple of players in that position.

  1. Better buy Brozvic from them for 20 -23 mil and let them have Frattesi. Especially if Pioli plans to play 3 man midfield. Brozovic is a great regista.

    1. He is one of the best in the world but Milan won’t pay him 6-7M he earns at Inter and I don’t think he would ever join Milan even if there was an opportunity. But he would be perfect.

      1. I think Brozovic like Rakitic is on a steep down ward turn in relation to performances and not the same player he was the season before last and before that.

The Sassuolo president is trying to make up for the money he has lost by not selling Berardi earlier!!

    1. I also read this morning Brozovic move is on but it’s again blocked because arabs changed their offer to Inter in last minute.

Still I don’t think we’ll get him. He’s not in line with new management’s cheap philosophy.

    2. Yeah, I don’t think he will go. Brozovic is stalling a lot so he can maybe get an offer from a proper club. He wrote on his social media that the show has just begun, so you can expect some more twists and turns. I was really surprised to see Inter want to let him go for 23M but it seems their relationship is gone and they just don’t want to keep him in any case. Pretty odd, but great for Milan.

  2. The other midfielders we are linked with should be our priority not those who don’t have us as first choice plus personally I don’t fancy this fratessi guy
