The AC Milan squad will enjoy another day of rest today before returning to training on Tuesday afternoon to begin preparing for the derby.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report, today is the second day of rest at Milanello for Stefano Pioli’s men who will return to training tomorrow, Tuesday 5 September.
Pioli decided to give the remaining players some time to rest after the victory against Roma on Friday evening, which required a huge effort from the team in high temperatures and with 10 men for the last half an hour.
However, Pioli will be without 15 players who have left for international duty, something that will make preparing for the derby against Inter after the international break more difficult.
The first Derby della Madonnina of the season will see two teams meet who remain with perfect records after three Serie A games. The Rossoneri have beaten Bologna, Torino and Roma while the Nerazzurri won against Monza, Cagliari and Fiorentina.
Good !
Inter have 17 players called up for this international break.
Will be a tough game… But I guess we can sort it out.
