SM: Milan schedule summit as De Ketelaere rejects PSV loan – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Charles De Ketelaere has rejected the opportunity to join PSV Eindhoven on loan and a summit has now been scheduled by AC Milan. Indeed, the future of the player remains up in the air.

De Ketelaere didn’t have a successful first season with Milan, managing just one assist despite plenty of appearances. Having invested €35m in the player, the Rossoneri are wary of the situation and want to make the best decision.

As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it have learned, De Ketelaere has said no to the idea of joining Dautch side PSV Eindhoven on loan. He knows that the first year wasn’t good enough and now he wants to prove himself, but that might not be easy.

Milan have seemingly switched to a 4-3-3 formation and their new signings for the midfield haven’t left much space for the Belgian. Therefore, the Rossoneri have scheduled a summit with the entourage of the playmaker, which will take place in the coming weeks.

The real intentions of De Ketelaere will be discussed and Milan will also explain their aim of recouping a part of the hefty investment made. Based on that, the parties will make a decision.

  1. Imagine going after a player all summer, paying a hefty price (for Milan) for him, comes with big
expectations and he flops so hard in the first season…
    Now imagine you’re cdk

    1. Now imagine you were Xhaka when he left pitch and all fans and media were against him? He came back and gave them best 2 seasons of his life since then no?

Sorry but football is like that, and if you want to succeed you need to show once you cross the white line and into the pitch

      1. idk what youre talking about.
from my pov he is hungry to prove himself but the club wants to sell him.
Now idk what season you think when you say Xhaka but he was always a cr@p player imao. Arsenal with Xaha leading the midfield got to CL 0 times in 6 years. 0 times 😀

      2. 💯

I really want him to stay and fight for his place
RLC, Pulisic and CDK, those 3 as our AMC”s puts a smile on my face, because quite simply if any ONE of them preforms to their full potential we are in for success

  2. the thing is that, since we have leao pulisic and samu C, palying false 9 is vailable again, which is CDK best position

  3. This is the same thing that happen to hakan Cal when milan was complaining about is from after a few season he discover him self and left for inter for free ,pioli will make this play again on CDK. He’s time and those plenty players purchased will disappoint Milan only 4 will player will do fine

    1. Hakan showed he could play at a high level in Serie A, CDK hasn’t shown anything. CDK should be happy that a mid size club like PSV even shows interest. He is no position to reject the offer and he will lose out to the new signings at Milan.

    2. These weird comparisons all the time.. Hakan was one of the few creative players we had in Gattuso’s grinta squad and I actually didn’t want him to leave. How he compares to CDK faffing about on the pitch like a lost schoolboy I don’t know.
