The AC Milan Women were in action against Sassuolo yesterday as they beat the Neroverde 3-0, and while they’ve been busy on the pitch, they’ve been busy off it too.

According to SempreMilan’s Luca Maninetti, Danish forward Nadia Nadim will become the latest signing for the team. The Dane was a wealth of experience, including playing at the Euros for Denmark.

Her team came in second place in 2017. The forward has also played for PSG, Manchester City, the Portland Thorns, and most recently, Racing Louisville in the US.

Milan has some familiarity with the Kentucky-based team, as they played in the Women’s Tournament there in 2022.

Now, Nadim will trade the colours of lavender and midnight for the red and black of Milan. Nadim has also appeared to have her medical with the team and should be unveiled as a signing soon.

Maninetti also states that another Dane, Sara Thrige, is in the sights of PSV. The Dutch side are said to be interested in bringing the player to Eindhoven.

Thrige has made a total of 41 appearances for the Rossonere and has scored a total of three goals for the team.
