SM: Milan’s mercato enters crucial phase – updates on Correa, Laxalt, Silva and Mariano

By Vito Angele -

Less than two weeks from the end of the transfer market, we are beginning to enter a decisive phase.

The failure to sell André Silva at the moment blocks incoming transactions.

To date, on the Angel Correa front, the is a stalemate – while the player continues to hope for a Rossoneri future. Milan, before trying to meet the Atletico Madrid request, wants to complete at least one sale.

If everything is blocked on the Silva front, the same can be said for Castillejo who has already let the company know he doesn’t want to leave, thus refusing three clubs who are interested: Sevilla, Celta Vigo and Valencia.

Who could soon leave is Diego Laxalt for which there is an offer from Atalanta, who would like him on loan with the option to buy.

Milan on the other hand want the deal to include an obligation to buy for the former Bologna and Genoa full-back. More talks are expected on Thursday, but if a move to Bergamo is not possible then Fiorentina and Fenerbahce are waiting.

In Madrid: at present there is no trip planned to Spain for Paolo Maldini, but a promise was made after the Theo Hernandez purchase to discuss more potential signings, and Mariano Diaz could be a potential name.
