In a surreal transfer market, which could be open from September 1st to October 1st – though with the possibility to sign pre-contracts from July – Milan are preparing for a revolution with Ralf Rangnick at the helm.
Tanguy Kouassi, as learned by SempreMilan.com, is a potential signing. At just 17 years of age, the PSG product has already made 13 appearances, scoring three times in the process to show his attacking abilities.
Strong in the aerial duels, fast and impressive when it comes to marking: the centre-back has already been compared to Kalidou Koulibaly. Half of Europe’s eyes are on the Frenchman, given that his contract will expire in the summer.
Milan have already pounced on the opportunity, collecting the player’s yes. However, there are several obstacles. First of all, the will of PSG to secure Kouassi on a professional contract.
Sources close to the club, in fact, have made it known that negotiations are underway at the behest of both parties. Milan are studying the signing, thanks to the work of chief scout Moncada, but the impression is that Leonardo wants to keep him close.
To develop his game, Rangnick needs technical and fast players, as well as young people. From Diatta to Boga, to Depay and Szoboszlai – all of these players reflect these characteristics.
Depay remains just an idea for now, as there have been no contacts between the parties yet. As for Diatta, the Rossoneri have only made an inquiry. The situation is different for Szoboszlai and Boga, though.
With the former, there are continuous contacts with his agent to understand if Salzburg will agree to a small discount. Milan are willing to spend around €20m on the player, closely monitoring the situation.
On Moncada’s notebook, there is also Boga: with 8 goals in 25 games and a season yet to be concluded, the player – who Chelsea have the right to buy back – has bewitched Serie A and could be suitable for the game of Rangnick.
Sassuolo value him at around €25-30m and haven’t declared him unsellable. With the right offer, it would give the Neroverde club a large capital gain. Szoboszlai and Boga: Milan want to add pace to the wings.
