SM: Rangnick wants to keep Ibrahimovic and Maldini but Gazidis has other plans

By Isak Möller -

Paolo Maldini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are expected to leave AC Milan at the end of the season, not getting on too well with CEO Ivan Gazidis. Ralf Rangnick, on the other hand, has a different opinion on the matter.

According to our correspondent, Vito Angele, it looks like the duo will depart later this summer. If it were up to Rangnick, as has emerged from sources close to the German manager, they would stay at the club.

The RB Leipzig director intends to start a project based on young players, but he always wants some who can add experience and value to the team. However, of course, the plans must coincide with the thoughts of Gazidis.

Therefore, Ibrahimovic and Maldini’s future seems far away from Milan. It remains to be seen where they will end up next, although the director has previously made it clear that he will only work for the Rossoneri (via MilanNews.it).
