After the second defeat in four league games, Marco Giampaolo’s position as head coach could be at risk in the near future, we have learned.
The Rossoneri leadership has in fact denied it immediately, although around Elliott Management there is dissatisfaction with the results and the performance shown by Milan above all in the derby. As a result, Giampaolo’s position on the bench is not to be considered very solid.
Boban and Maldini are aware that it will take some time to see the real game of Giampaolo even if, to disturb the mood of the duo, there would be the fear of losing ground in the race for the Champions League.
In this regard the next two games will be almost decisive: Torino, away from home and Fiorentina at home will inevitably mark a first general indication of the progress.
In a week, Giampaolo will have to try to get the best out of his Milan, starting with his management in the dressing room: many players are not expressing their full potential, perhaps due to an incompatible game system.
For now the confidence in the coach is total, but watch out for the next two matches. Further disappointing results would mean losing ground in the Champions League race already, something that Elliott would not accept.
