AC Milan came out on top in a five-goal thriller at San Siro on Saturday night, moving back second in the Serie A table.
After a poor start from Milan, Strahinja Pavlovic broke the deadlock with a looping shot from 30 yards that went in off the crossbar. Simeone equalised, but Adrien Rabiot and Youssouf Fofana netted in quick succession to put the Rossoneri 3-1 up, and Vlasic’s late penalty would be just a consolation.
The win means that the Rossoneri have put a bit of pressure back on Inter as the gap is five points while waiting for them to play Fiorentina, while the gap to Juventus in fifth is now nine points. Below is how the players reacted on social media.
