AC Milan could welcome the nephew of an Inter legend to the club in the near future, due to a contract situation with Lazio.
With famous fathers, their sons normally go on to represent the same club. Of course, there are anomalies, but look at the Maldini line, for example. Now, it seems that a son of an Inter legend could head to represent his father’s biggest rivals.

Switching allegiances?
According to Il Messaggero, via La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Rossoneri are keen on Gianfilippo Materazzi, the nephew of the former Inter defender. The Under-17 forward is out of contract in the summer, and interest is present from the Diavolo and Juventus.
Whilst he is a huge Lazio fan, as the report states, a decision will be made shortly about where his future lies, but you would imagine his father would be against a move to Milano.
Recently, he accepted a place in the Under-17 Serbia team – where he is eligible thanks to his mother – and it seems his future will not be with the Azzurri. Regardless of this, he seems to be a promising talent, with a lot of progression ahead of him. It will be interesting to see how far the interest from Milan goes.
