The agent of RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano has contacted to Ralf Rangnick to see if he is Milan-bound, a source claims.
There are still conflicting messages from various outlets in the media with regards to whether or not the German will arrive, but if he does then it seems almost certain he will take up a role as head coach and sporting director, meaning he controls recruitment too.
Milan continue to be linked with a number of different players in the media ahead of what is expected to be a revolutionary summer, and Calciomercato.com claimed on Tuesday that a couple of RB Leipzig’s prized assets could be targets, one of whom is Upamecano.
According to the latest from transfer source Louis Girardi on Twitter, the agent of the Frenchman has actually reached out to Rangnick to see if he is heading to Milan at the end of the season.
The response was non-committal, but Girardi claims that the former Schalke and Hoffenheim boss said that is it ‘possible’.
