Source claims AC Milan have opened talks with Thiago Silva over ‘resounding return’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have opened talks with the agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva about a possible return to the club, one source claims.

Calciomercato.it recently reported that there is a big chance that Silva will leave the French capital on a fee at the end of the season as sporting director Leonardo is not keen on the idea of offering his fellow Brazilian a new contract.

His agent Paulo Tonietto even spoke to Milancaffè24 over the weekend about the situation surrounding his client and admitted that a return to Milan cannot be ruled out.

Then, we reported via our correspondent Vito Angele on Monday night that the Rossoneri are thinking about a reunion with the 34-year-old and that although at the moment there are still no concrete negotiations, Milan could soon work with the Brazilian’s agent.

Now, Louis Girardi is claiming contacts have in fact now started between Milan and Thiago Silva’s agent, showing that the interest from the Diavolo is indeed concrete.

“Contacts started with Thiago Silva’s agent for a resounding return to the Rossoneri at the end of the season,” his tweet reads.
