AC Milan remain very active on the transfer market. As much as they are looking for new players to reinforce the squad, they are also keen on offloading some outcasts this month.
Although Hakan Calhanoglu can’t be considered as an outcast, given that he usually starts the games, he’s at least of the players that Milan could consider selling. In other words, if the right offer arrives, the winger isn’t considered unsellable by Boban and Maldini.
According to Louis Girardi (via his Twitter page), an offer arrived at Casa Milan today for the Turkish midfielder, more specifically from Newcastle. The Premier League side have been linked with Calhanoglu before, and the interest seemingly hasn’t gone away.
The 25-year-old is valued at €20m by the Rossoneri, having joined for €23m, as recently reported by Calciomercato.com. The details of Newcastle’s offer haven’t surfaced yet, but we should soon find out more about the matter.
