Late last night, 7 Gold reported that Bernard Arnault is still interested in purchasing AC Milan after many months of silence on this front. Now, further confirmations have arrived on the matter.
According to Louis Girardi, the words of Paolo Maldini a few days ago – stating that his family tie to the club is unlikely to end – refer to the possible change of ownership. In fact, Arnault would like to keep him at the club.

Some of the agreements reached between Elliott and Arnault, as the reporter continues, broke down because the new stadium go-ahead didn’t arrive in March. However, the negotiations are still alive, with Arnault ahead of a group from Qatar.
The group from Qatar will only enter the race to purchase Milan if the negotiations between Elliott and Arnault break down completely.
Arnault’s idea for the future, meanwhile, is this: Ariedo Braida as CEO, Maldini as technical director, a new sporting director and Andriy Shevchenko as manager.
