Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo has hinted that he would be willing to accept a move to AC Milan in the upcoming transfer window.
With the departures of Andrea Bertolacci, Jose Mauri and Riccardo Montolivo at the end of the month confirmed, new boss Marco Giampaolo is in the market for midfield reinforcements.
A number of names continue to be linked with a move to Milan, who seem to be deploying a strategy of signing established players to challenge for the starting XI and young, talented players for depth.
Olmo, 21, is attracting interest for a number of clubs following his impressive performances this season for Dinamo, where he racked up a combined 12 goals and assists in the league least season.
The player’s agent Marko Naletilić confirmed Milan’s interest back in December, and now the player has directly addressed the speculation.
Olmo told TuttoMercatoWeb: “I am currently focused on the Euros.
“It’s clear to everyone that Milan is a great club, we will see what happens in the future.”
The Spain U21 international predominantly plays in behind the strikers, but can also play as a winger on either flank.
