There was a flashpoint during AC Milan’s 4-0 win over Napoli tonight as Luciano Spalletti exchanged words with Paolo Maldini and Rafael Leao in the tunnel.
Just as the players began making their way out of the tunnel for the second half, Spalletti could be seen in heated conversation with Maldini and Leao, having seemingly been angered by the Portuguese winger’s celebration after the opening goal.
Leao celebrated by running over to the corner flag and pulling a face, but it certainly did not seem to be aimed at the Napoli fans as Spalletti presumed.
Maldini intervened in his defence, stating: “Mister, you’re nervous, but you won the league, what the f*** do you want.”
