Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti will be left with two emergency options in attack if Giacomo Raspadori is not fit enough to start the Champions League match against AC Milan, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the Partenopei are without both Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Simeone on Wednesday through injury which removes two of their three conventional strikers.
That leaves Giacomo Raspadori but he only recently returned from injury and is being assessed constantly in the lead-up to the game. There is still a chance that he won’t be fit enough to start the game, though.
That gives Spalletti an emergency situation in attack which he would have to solve by playing one of Hirving Lozano or Elif Elmas as the striker.
Both players are much better out wide but the coach may be left with no choice but to use players out of position.
Just play the injured osimhen and simeone to make them worse for second match lol. At least we’ll just focus on making as many goals as we can.
