AC Milan are one of the Serie A clubs who are interested in the idea of signing Luis Suarez from Barcelona, a report claims.
According to a report from Sport, Suarez has been told by new manager Ronald Koeman that he does not have a place in his Barcelona project and that offers will be evaluated for the Uruguay international.
The report adds that Ajax’s sporting director Marc Overmars made an enquiry a few weeks ago to see if Suarez was for sale and was told no, but that scenario may change from now on.
Barcelona are very clear that they need Suarez to leave to be able to successfully attempt the signing of Lautaro Martínez from Inter, while Sport add that from Italy there are several teams already interested in the former Liverpool man which the Catalan side know that they can take advantage of.
AC Milan, Inter and Lazio could all make moves shortly and it seems clear that an exit could move faster than expected.
