AC Milan are among Europe’s elite clubs in registering interest in Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai, according to a report.
A number of different sources – including Tuttosport, Calciomercato.com, MilanNews and il Corriere dello Sport – have reported that Milan are considering a move for Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.
Szoboszlai continues to go from strength to strength and is performing at the highest level, having scored four goals in five Champions League games this season (including qualifiers) and having netted the winner to send his nation Hungary to the 2021 European Championships.
However, his exploits have not gone unnoticed and Milan are not along in casting an admiring glance. As the newspaper Sport reports (via MilanNews), Arsenal, Bayern and Real Madrid are in the running to land Szoboszlai, who has a €25m release clause.
He already has five goals and nine assists in 13 matches across all competitions this season and could leave the Austrian club as early as January.
