SportBild: Dortmund want to sign the ‘Italian Haaland’ as Milan circle date in red

More reports have suggesting that AC Milan’s young prodigy Francesco Camarda is attracting serious interest from clubs abroad.

SportBild recall that Erling Haaland once scored 86 goals in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund, while Youssoufa Moukoko also had extraordinary goal numbers during his time in the youth sector there, but Camarda’s are off the charts.

Camarda is only 15 years of age but he is already making headlines for himself as part of Ignazio Abate’s Primavera side. He is said to have scored 485 goals in 89 games in the various youth sectors, and he netted a brace against Newcastle in the first Youth League game of the season.

Dortmund’s scouts are watching him, and the signings of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and most recently Ousmane Diallo show they are a club that does their scouting homework and moves early.

The Bundesliga side have not started a concrete negotiation yet but they are continuing to closely monitor the development of the teenager. Manchester City are also keeping a close eye on a player dubbed the ‘Italian Haaland’ in the article.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have a date circled in red. On March 10, 2024, Camarda will be 16 years old and could sign his first professional contract.
