Sporting Judge: AC Milan handed €4K fine for delay; Bennacer risks suspension

By Isak Möller -

Following the 20th round of Serie A action, the Sporting Judge communicated his decisions earlier today (via MilanNews.it). For AC Milan, a punishment has arrived with regards to the game against Udinese.

In fact, they will have to pay €4K in fines as Sunday’s game was delayed by roughly five minutes, which the Sporting Judge deemed as the Rossoneri’s fault. Furthermore, there was no explanation behind the delay, which resulted in the fine.

In addition to the fine, one of Milan’s players will have to be careful, namely Ismael Bennacer. The Algerian received his 9th yellow card against Udinese and will thus receive a one-game ban if he gets another one.

On another note, after being sent off last time out, Mario Balotelli will miss the game against his former side on Friday. The incident was deemed as serious and he will not only sit out one game, but rather two.
