The Sporting Judge has announced his decisions for the past round of Serie A action, and some post-derby fines have been handed out.
The derby between AC Milan and Inter was generally played in good spirits, at least compared to the days of Theo Hernandez and Denzel Dumfries regularly having to be separated due to various physical altercations.
Calciomercato.com relay the decisions of the Sporting Judge after the 28th round of Serie A. Of particular note are the decisions on the game at San Sir on Sunday night. We start with Adrien Rabiot’s yellow card which was upheld as expected, so he will serve a one-game ban.
In addition to that, two fines were also handed down to Milan: “A fine of €8,000.00: to AC Milan for having its supporters, during the match, repeatedly hurled insulting chants at two players of the opposing team.
“Furthermore, for having, in the 47th minute of the first half, directed a laser beam at a player of the opposing team; mitigated sanction pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1, letter b) of the CGS.”
We are not done yet though. A fine was given to an Inter director (Dario Baccin, for disrespectfully criticising a refereeing decision by Doveri), and a suspension plus a fine for a Milan fitness coach (Simone Folletti).

👏👏👏 good reporting I definitely understand why Simone was suspended
