Sportitalia: Milan, Juventus and Benfica in complex tussle for Santos striker – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

The Kaio Jorge case continues to get more and more complicated with Milan among three teams looking to sign him from Santos, a report claims.

As reported by Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia (via MilanNews), Juventus have sent an official correspondence to Santos to inform them of their willingness to find an agreement with Kaio Jorge, whose contract with the Brazilian club will expire in December.

The journalist also specifies that Milan already have an agreement with the striker over personal terms, while Portuguese side Benfica have an agreement with Santos but not with the player, which makes things more complicated.

As per the latest from MilanNews among other sources, the Rossoneri management have set a firm stance in their pursuit of the 19-year-old talent as they are not willing to raise their bid above €2-3m, given that he will not sign a renewal and therefore Santos will have to accept a small compensation fee if he doesn’t leave for free.
