AC Milan continue moving on the transfer market and in addition to a central defender and Jens Petter Hauge the club would also like to reinforce Stefano Pioli’s team with another midfielder.
It is no mystery that after securing the signature of Sandro Tonali, Milan also wanted to complete a deal with Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko. However, the operation is stalled at the moment, but it cannot be excluded that the parties could resume talks towards the end of the market.
In the meantime, however, Maldini and Massara are also evaluating other names for the midfield department.
One of these is Toma Basic, Bordeaux’s 23-year-old Croatian. According to Sportmediaset (via milanlive.it), there was a meeting with his agent in recent days at Casa Milan. The French club want around 10 million euros for his services.
It remains to be seen if Milan will choose to make a decisive move for the player or will wait for Chelsea to lower the asking price for Bakayoko. However, it seems that we will find out next week, with the transfer market approaching its end.
