AC Milan have begun exchanging documents with Besiktas over the departure of Ante Rebic, according to a Turkish journalist.
Rebic’s future is one of the issues that Milan have been looking to solve this summer as he is clearly outside of Stefano Pioli’s plans. He was even left out of the tour of the United States, staying in Italy rather than travelling with the rest of the squad.
The latest from Reşat Can Özbudak of Sports Digitale is that the Beşiktaş management are meeting with Milan’s sporting director Antonio D’Ottavio to close the deal for the Croatian forward.
It seems to be at an advanced stage too, because the exchange of documentation has started between Beşiktaş and Milan, which is the last step before things can be made official.
No further details are provided regarding the formula of the transfer and any figures relating to it, but they should emerge in due course.
Borini was tearing it up in turkey so rebic will do great there. And even get some eu action with besiktas. win- win imao
Rebic is a good player but he has problems with injuries and also needs to be considered central part of the project. The first two years he was, and did much better than Leao … but since Leao’s explosion he seemed to not care much and we cannot afford it any longer.
Shame, it was hard to beat us when he was in good shape and motivated. His pressing also helped the entire team. Oh well, best of luck in Turkey.
I know. I like rebic and it’s a shame injuries f’d his Milan career
One of threesome group has made way out. GL at new club.
player that don”t fit into your project should be let go where they can find form and fit into the system their enventual club. corea at inter is one of these players.
Bravo Ante.
Great news, for Milan, and for Rebic.
It would be good news if they get a certain amount of money for him! If it is a loan, with Milan committing to pay a certain part of his salary, then it is a bad deal.
No, it isn’t. Any money saved is better than having hit sit on the bench and paying his wages in full.
Only loan that would be good is an obligation to buy I think.
Good all round. Rebic has done some excellent things for Milan and we can never say he lacked effort – I only hope the new signings bring the same level of work rate.
If he’s in a place where he’s regular, fit and happy, he’ll do good things there.
I hope he does well there and reignite his career. Best of luck.
Loved him for his big temper 🙂 Crazy man that you want on your side.
Forza Milan Forza Ante. Best of luck brother!
Milan should include CDK in the deal for “Future considerations”.
