AC Milan are one of a number of European clubs interested in signing Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson this summer, a report claims.
According to Sporx in Turkey, Nelsson is the subject of interest from four Serie A clubs who are all following his development in view of the summer, namely Milan, Atalanta, Fiorentina and Sampdoria.
It seemed that the 24-year-old Dane – who has made 22 league appearances for the Istanbul club this season – was heading for Sevilla, but the move did not end up materialising.
Galatasaray know that there is plenty of interest in Nelsson and that is why they have set an asking price of €20-25m already in view of the window reopening in a few months.
The Rossoneri could well be in the market for a centre-back given that Simon Kjaer is now well into his 30s and is struggling to be in top condition consistently, while there are doubts about Matteo Gabbia’s future, plus the switch to a three-man defence means the system is more central defender heavy.
We have no money.. stop reading this kind of article would be wise lol
Agreed. We have three young defenders, two of whom cost a pittance and we’re going to spend 40% of the budget for a back-up? No, we’re not.
Yep you are right! Deduction thinking is a rare thing in this times indead.
Go ndicka free transfer. Just give him salary 3m euro / season. No need wasted limited transfer budget on defender
